Martin Insurance Group, LLP is a 35+ year legacy headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. As a military veteran with a servant-attitude, Ted Martin founded MIGLLP in 1985 and within a handful of years grew to become one of San Antonio’s largest independently owned employee benefits specialists & consulting firms in the region. Before long, a number of San Antonio’s largest private sector employers began using his professional services & concepts because they simply worked. Today, with the assistance & contributions from Taylor Martin as CEO, and our dedicated full service support staff, the firm continues to grow because of its tradition to deliver only the highest level of concierge quality services. MIG’s formal training & hands on experience in the ever-changing field of employee benefits, risk management & compliance consulting continues to save employers both money and time. MIG’s long list of turn-key administrative services directly cut employer’s bottom line costs while reducing their liabilities and risk exposures. MIG’s compliance team works with employers and their HR managers by educating HR & Benefits department personnel as well as providing them updates as the laws continue to change. Ted M. Martin, MPA, LUTCF, RHU, REBC, CLU

Founder & President

Ted is a highly experienced and formally educated (REBC) registered employee benefits consultant. As a (RHU) Registered Health Underwriter with over 25 years of hands on experience, he posses and a high level of expertise underwriting, plan design, funding alternatives in self-funding, level funding and fully insured programs. In short, Ted has gained a reputation as your “go to guy” by his colleagues and clients. Ted is also a (CLU) Certified Life Underwriter, which enables him to deliver informed advice to clients in the areas of risk management, key man life protection as well as in employer retirement plans. Ted takes a consultative approach to problem solving resulting in the best short and long term solutions for employers and individuals. As military veteran, a husband, father and Christian man, Ted never confuses his priorities, his integrity and his family values are reflective in the way he listens and collaborates with his team of strategically selected alliance partners to deliver the most comprehensive solutions for his clients. Ted has earned an impressive list of formal educational degrees and industry designations that affirms his commitment to our clients and this industry. Over the years, many of his recommendations have been used in the redesigning of forms and service delivered by several of the national A+ carriers like Blue Cross, Aetna, Humana and United Health Care.

Taylor M. Martin, BA, REBC,

Chief Executive Officer

Taylor Martin is a graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communication Studies. He is a State of Texas licensed Life & Health agent with over a decade of experience in the employee benefits and plan administration industry. He earned the professional designation of Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC), which is one of the highest forms of recognition in the health insurance industry. Taylor’s early years in the industry was spent undergoing extensive training in agency operations to include the overseeing of all the account management customer service duties for our client groups. Fast forward and Taylor has now assumed the position of MIG’s CEO and now successfully mentors and leads employees while tending to his sales & marketing duties to our growing brokerage. Taylor is a wellness & exercise advocate, who uses his commitment and self-discipline style of thinking in his everyday work to produce high quality results for our clients. Taylor has a wife and two daughters, whom he loves spending time with when not at work. His other interests & hobbies include weightlifting, golfing, and target shooting. He is someone who believes in long term friendships, commitments, and trust.

Elizabeth Luker Martin

Chief Financial Officer

Elizabeth is a State Licensed Agent and the Chief Financial Officer for Martin Insurance Group. As one of our agency’s principals she is involved in several facets of our agency’s financial management by working and collaborating in planning strategies with our firm’s president & other company officers on an on-going basis. When she is not working she enjoys traveling, interior design, and spending time with her grandchildren and two puppies.

Crystal J. Jarrett

Senior Account Manager

Crystal is one of our military veterans that Martin Insurance Group is proud to have as part of our leadership team. Crystal served 12 years with the United States Navy and was deploy overseas with her unit. Although she joined us green to the insurance industry, her wealth of life and service to others experience has helped her learn and excel at an impressive rate. Fast forward 7 years and she is now licensed and manages some of Martin Insurance Groups top key clients, delivering high level prompt service. Crystal is a people person that takes great pride in her work and delivers high quality results in all she does for our brokerage and our clients. When Crystal is not a work, she prides herself in being a Mom and spending time with her three beautiful children and her husband.

Veronica Morales

Account Manager

Veronica was originally hired as a temporary employee to assist with our busy season in 2020. In only a few short months we quickly realized the positive impact she was having on our team, so we made her position a permanent one. Her God given talent for assimilation and a sincere desire to help others, allowed us to provide fast track training and mentorship. In only a few short years MIG’s leadership training, coupled with her upbeat demeanor and positive attitude, resulted in an uplifted addition to the MIG’s ‘total’ service team. Furthering the quality of service that our clients have learned to expect. When Veronica is not at work, she spends time with her fiancé Ben and their “fur baby” Hazel.
